Conveniently located near the town hall and a 5-minute walk from National Park Harz. Close to a conservatory, market square, superb restaurant, and the city center of Wernigerode. - Fantastic variety of breakfast options.

Charming hotel with lovely public spaces. Excellent breakfast included in tariff. Unexpected treats included a music recital by members of the local philharmonic orchestra and a basket of Easter eggs on Easter Sunday.
Although the food in the dining room was very good quality and well presented, the choice of dishes was very small - we stayed 5 nights and would have dined in more had there been more choice.

The value for money at Travel Charme was exceptional, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of town, and the staff treated us with kindness and professionalism throughout our stay.
The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast choices is to offer a wider variety of fresh fruit.

Everything about this hotel reinforced the caring and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was big and spacious, and small touches like a free bottle of water and a drink at the bar on our arrival day were great. Our evening meal was one of the best in our whole trip so far; beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were uniformly helpful, polite and cheerful. We only stumbled across the hotel from the Lonely Planet Guide but what a find and what a pity we couldn't spend longer. If you can stay here then don't miss the experience - it was a treat!
Only thing I'd change was free WiFi in rooms but that is only a small request. You can get paid access but only down in the (big and spacious) bar downstairs.

The staff were amazing - very friendly, chatty & welcoming. As we could not speak German, they really went the extra mile to make our stay easy. Most spoke very good English & even joked around with us & taught us a few German words. Also could not fault the hygiene of the hotel. The facilities & room were cleaned immaculately. The breakfast also provided everything you could possibly desire. Delicious!
Nothing! Can not be flawed.

Place was spacious, comfortable and the staff were faultless in their friendliness and attention to detail. Breakfast selection superb. Only downside is the parking is a little tricky to find initially, due to the circular local road layout, but once located it is secure and free. Would have no hesitation in coming back
